December 14, 2011ADA – East Central University Tiger Athletics has been involved in a couple of recent community outreach projects during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.
Many ECU student-athletes participated in the ‘Feed the Families’ event on Nov. 17th in conjunction with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the Oklahoma Food Bank. Free dinners were provided for financially struggling families in the area as the Tiger athletes helped with the set-up and serving.
On Dec. 5th, members of the Tiger men’s basketball team helped to feed foster families during an event at Trinity Baptist Church in Ada. The event was under the direction of Chris Snowden, University Minister, of Trinity Baptist.
