ECU to partner again with Ada Youth Football
May 11, 2010ADA - Last fall, East Central University Athletics and Norris Field played host to the Ada Youth Football League (AYFL) and plans are underway to do the same in 2010.
The league was formed in 2008 and 2009 marked the inaugural season for full development of the AYFL.
As part of ECU's Centennial Celebration in 2009, the league partnered with ECU as games were played on the ECU campus with ECU students, student-athletes, faculty and staff assisting with the league operation.
The AYFL made a donation to the ECU Athletic Department for their contribution to the endeavor.
Registration for the 2010 AYFL is now underway. Along with teams forming for students entering the third, fourth, fifth and sixth grades next fall, the 2010 season will also include the addition of cheerleading squads.
