Bryant is coming off two stellar seasons with the Tigers…He was a First Team All-Great American Conference selection in 2011 and picked up one GAC Defensive Player of the Week award and Oklahoman State College Player of the Week for his performance in ECU’s 29-12 home victory over Southwestern Oklahoma State, which included 14 tackles (three solos) with five stops for minus-15 yards, including a pair of quarterback sacks…Bryant earned D2Football.com First Team All-American and Daktronics Second Team All-American honors as a sophomore in 2010 as he was third in the nation in quarterback sacks at 13.5 (most by a defensive lineman)…He also picked up a Daktronics First Team All-Region award in 2010 and was named Lone Star Conference North Defensive Lineman of the Year…Bryant picked up two LSC North Defensive Player of the Week honors and one LSC North Special Teams Player of the Week award in 2010…He transferred to ECU from Cisco Junior College (Texas) and spent one season at Abilene Christian, but did not play…Bryant earned all-district accolades at Wichita Falls High School (Texas).
