2013: Named to the Don Hansen All-Super Region Three Third Team and was an All-GAC First Team selection…missed three games due to injury…tallied nine unassisted tackles and 15.5 total tackles…recorded 1.0 TFL for two years…recovered one fumble for 10 yards…garnered three interceptions, including two in the opening game of the season…scored one TD and a total of 138 yards off the two interceptions against Arkansas-Monticello Sept. 7…added six pass break-ups…returned nine kicks for 218 yards.

2012: An All-GAC Honorable Mention...saw action in all 11 games...averaged 19.8 yards per kick return and 9.0 yards per punt return...tallied six kick returns for 119 yards and one punt return for nine yards...garnered 51 (30-21) tackles, two for loss, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery (35 yards) that scored a TD, three interceptions (29 yards) and five pass breakups.

2011: Played in 10 of the team’s 11 games as a redshirt freshman...compiled 19 tackles (10 solo), including one sack and a pass breakup…returned 14 kickoffs for 324 yards (a 23.1 yard average) .
 
Before ECU: Attended Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College before coming to ECU…played at Ada High School where he earned an all-state award.
 
Personal: Born May 28, 1992…son of Bryant Black and Shirley Brown...majoring in secondary education.
