Simmons and Mengwasser Earn Daktronics All-Region Honors
ADA – Two members of the East Central University softball
team have been honored as picks to the 2013 Daktronics All-Central Region
teams. Senior Shelby Simmons was a
first-team pick as a short stop and junior Gina Mengwasser earned a spot on the
second team as a catcher.

Lady Tigers Extend Stay at GAC Tournament with Two Wins
BENTONVILLE, ARK. – The East Central University advanced
to the final day of competition at the 2013 Great American Conference
Tournament with a pair of wins. The Lady
Tigers (42-12) first earned a 7-3 win over Southern Arkansas and then earned a
run-rule 8-0 win over Ouachita Baptist.
