Women’s Tennis Claims 2013 GAC Championship Title
BENTONVILLE, ARK. – After falling in the 2012 Great
American Conference women’s tennis championship match, the No. 2 East Central
University women’s tennis team earned a 5-2 in over No. 1 Arkansas Tech in the 2013
GAC Championship match to earn the title.
Women’s Tennis Advances to GAC Championship Match
ADA – After earning a first-round bye the No. 2 East
Central University women’s tennis team advanced to the 2013 Great American
Conference Championship match with a 5-3 win over No. 3 Harding. Prior to starting the match senior Marta
Valles and sophomore Bernardita Muscillo were both honored as All-GAC First
Team picks.
Women’s Tennis Claims No. 2 Seed at GAC Championship
ADA – The East Central University women’s tennis team
will head to Bentonville, Ark., for the 2013 Great American Conference Championship
as the No. 2 seed. ECU earned a bye in
the opening round of action and will face the winner of No. 3 Harding and No. 6
Henderson State at 3 p.m., Friday, April 19 at the Memorial Park Tennis Complex.
Women’s Tennis Fall to Oklahoma Baptist
ADA – The East Central University women’s tennis team
dropped a 2-7 decision to Oklahoma Baptist in the final regular-season match of
the 2013 season.
