RUSSELLVILLE, ARK. – East Central University men’s cross country junior Juan-Joel Pacheco Orcozo has been named the Great American Conference Male Runner of the Week for Oct. 8.

Pacheco Orcozo led the Tigers to a sixth-place finish at the Chile Pepper Cross Country Festival as he placed 15th with a time of 25:14.6. He placed first among the 28 GAC competitors in the race. In a combined race with Division I participants, he placed 52nd overall.
