East Central University Athletics

ADA - East Central University soccer senior Katie Glutz helped the Tigers to a 1-2 record over the weekend by scoring two goals in the come-from-behind win over Ouachita Baptist, 2-1, on the annual Senior Day for the Tigers.  After a scoreless first half, OBU (5-11-1, 4-5 GAC) was the first to score, with a goal at 48:04.

ECU picked up the intensity and saw the first goal to tie the game at one at 61:09 by senior Katie Glutz.  Glutz sent in a shot from the far right side outside of the goal box and sent it over the head and to the left of the OBU net minder.

Glutz added the match-winning goal at 77:53 with an assist from fellow senior Jessica Stibbens.  Stibbens sent in a shot on goal that was wide, but it was picked up by Glutz in the front of the net and tapped in.
