ADA – East Central University football junior Travis Hening added his name to the list of Tiger players to earn 2014 postseason honors, as he has been named to the American Football Coaches Association Division II Coaches' All-America First Team.

2014 AFCA DII Coaches' All-America Team

The offensive lineman pick was one of three players from the Great American Conference to earn a spot on the offensive team.  The Yukon, Okla., also earned All-GAC First Team honors for 2014, after being named to the second team in 2013.

Hening was a 2014 Preseason USA College Football All-America Third Team pick and has been a starter for ECU for the past three seasons.  In 2014 is averaged 72.6 players per game from the line of scrimmage, helping to protect the Tiger quarterbacks.  That protection resulted in only one sack allowed in over 375 passing attempts.  The ECU coaches credited him with over 25 knock downs and pancakes.

Hening also helped the Tigers to their first bowl game since 1975 and the first game in the post season since 1993.
