East Central University softball junior Taylor Davis has been named the Great American Conference Player of the Week for April 14 after helping the Tigers to a 5-1 performance last week.

Davis hit .632 and reached base 18 times in 25 plate appearances. After two multi-hit games against Southeastern Oklahoma State, she went 7-for-11 against Southwestern Oklahoma State. In game three, she hit a game-winning grand slam in the bottom of the seventh inning. For the week, she scored nine runs and stole four bases.
