ADA – East Central University men’s cross country senior Juan-Joel Pacheco Orozco has been named the ECU Male Athlete of the Week after leading the Tigers to the Missouri Southern Stampede Title, Sept. 19 in Joplin, Mo.

Pacheco Orozco finished third individually in a time of 24:43.36 in the 8k race. ECU ended the race with 121 points, three points in front of the second-place team (Nebraska-Kearney).

The win included finishing about three other teams from the Great American Conference (Harding, 4^th; Southern Arkansas, 16^th; Oklahoma Baptist, 19^th).
