ADA – East Central University men’s cross country junior Richard Mora has been named the ECU Male Student-Athlete of the Week for Nov. 9.

The El Paso, Texas, native helped the Tigers finish second at the 2015 NCAA Central Regional, earning the Tigers a trip to the 2015 NCAA National Championship race.  Mora was the third runner for ECU to cross the line, finishing 18th in a time of 31:11.40.

This is the first time since 2011 that the men’s cross country team has advanced to the national championship race as a team.
