ADA – East Central University football junior David Moore has been named the ECU Male Student-Athlete of the Week for Nov. 16.
Moore was also named the ECU Landmark Player of the Game in The Great American Classic game against Southeastern last weekend. Moore recorded 123 yards and a TD in the game and set two ECU records in the process.
The touchdown was his 13th of the season, setting the single season receiving TD record. Moore also now has 25 career receiving touchdowns, which is also the career record for the Tigers.
The Gainsville, Texas native also became the first ECU football player to record over 1,000 receiving yards in a season, with 1,097. That broke the previous single season record of 970 yards by Caleb Holley in 2012.
