ADA – East Central University women’s basketball sophomore Aalyiah Blakely has been named the ECU Female Athlete of the Week for Jan. 4.

Blakely started her career with the Tigers, Dec. 16 against Texas A&M-Commerce and has been strong for ECU in the post for the past two games. The Ada, Okla., native tallied a career-high 10 points, with three field goals, two triples and four rebounds against Central Oklahoma.
