RUSSELLVILLE, ARK. – East Central University men's basketball senior Ishmael Donzo has been named the Great American Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week for Jan. 9 after helping the Tigers to two key road victories over the weekend.

Donzo averaged a double-double as the Tigers extended their win streak to eight after earning road wins against Harding and Arkansas Tech. He tallied a career-high 22 points, while grabbing 13 rebounds in the win against the Bisons. He followed up with 15 points and nine rebounds in a 94-85 victory against the Wonder Boys.
