RUSSELLVILLE, ARK. – East Central University women's basketball senior Devon Branch earned her first Great American Conference Player of the Week honor, for Dec. 4.
The Boerne, Texas, native helped the Tigers to a 2-0 record last week, with wins at Southern Arkansas and Arkansas-Monticello in GAC action. Branch averaged 25.0 points and 10.0 rebounds for the games, while shooting .424 (14-of-33) from the floor, .429 (9-of-21) from three-point range an d.813 (13-of-16) from the charity stripe.
In the win at UAM, Branch tallied career highs with 25 points and two blocks, while also setting a new career high with nine free throws at SAU.
