ADA – East Central University baseball junior Alec Lemmon has earned his first Great American Conference Pitcher of the Week honor, for April 23.

The Wichita Falls, Texas, native helped the Tigers earn their first GAC series sweep of the season, taking two games from Southern Nazarene at Ken Turner Field.  Lemmon pitched a complete-game shutout in the second game, with ECU winning 4-0.

In 7.0 innings, Lemmon allowed just two singles and struck out 11, for an opponent batting average of .100.  His 11 strikeouts are the most by a single pitcher in a game this year for the Tigers.
