East Central University Athletics

ADA – East Central University women’s basketball redshirt junior Janee Garza helped the Lady Tigers to a split on the Arkansas-Monticello (W, 66-54) and Southern Arkansas (L, 83-84 OT) road trip.

The Murphy, Texas, native averaged nine points per game, while shot .429 (6-14) from the field and .500 (6-of-12) from three-point range.  Garza had one of the best of her career at Southern Arkansas, with 15 points and a 5-of-11 mark from beyond the arc.
