RUSSELLVILLE, ARK. – East Central University sophomore Tarah Hilton has been named the Great American Conference Softball Player of the Week for Feb. 18.

The Haslet, Texas, native helped lead the Tigers (4-5) to a 4-2 record for the week.  She hit .667, 12 hits, nine RBIs, five runs, four doubles and a slugging percentage of .889.  On the defensive side, she recorded 12 putouts and three assisted outs.

Hilton had at least two hits in the six games on the weekly schedule, with a weekly high of four against Newman.  She hits two doubles in two games, including a double that scored the game-winning run against Pittsburg State.
