East Central University Athletics

RUSSELLVILLE, ARK. – East Central University track & field junior Dilland Gardner picked up his first All-Great American Conference Field Athlete of the Week honors after his performance at the Oklahoma Baptist Invitational.

The Desoto, Texas, native picked up two first-place finishes at the meet.  It was his second first-place finish in the shot put and the first in the discus.  He claimed first in the shot put, with a throw of 14.20m and his first-place mark in the discus was 43.97m.
