ADA- The East Central University softball team may not have been playing in the Great American Conference Championship games today, but that didn't stop sophomore Jordynn VanPelt from picking up an honor. VanPelt was named to the 11-member 2014 GAC All-Tournament Team.
The Snyder, Okla., native had a batting average of .417 for the tournament, with five hits, three runs and three RBIs over three games.
VanPelt was also named to the 2014 All-GAC Honorable Mention team after leading the team and league with 59 RBIs and adds 56 hits, 15 home runs, 38 runs scored and a .348 batting average.
