Box Score WEATHERFORD, OKLA. – The East Central University soccer team fell to No. 17 Southwestern Oklahoma State, 1-3, in Great American Conference action against the top two teams in the league standings.

The Lady Tigers (4-9, 4-2 GAC) were led by junior
Taylor Graves, who scored her first goal of the season. Redshirt freshman
Taylor Lowe tallied four saves.
The Bulldogs (9-2-2, 5-0-1 GAC) took an early lead, scoring a goal at 8:34 in the first half. SWOSU added a second goal before the intermission for a 2-0 lead. Just over three minutes into the second half the Bulldogs added a third goal.
ECU scored its lone goal of the game at 87:10 in the second half when Graves sent a shot in from 30-yards out from the right wing on a free kick.
While SWOSU earned a 5-15 shots advantage, both teams struggled to get shots on net, with only four saves by ECU and one by the Bulldogs.
The Lady Tigers will now have a slow week, with just one match. ECU will continue their road trip, with a stop in Bethany, Okla., to face Southern Nazarene, Friday, Oct. 25 at 7 p.m.
