Lady Tigers Fall to Southern Nazarene

Junior Katie Glutz scored her third goal of the season against Southern Nazarene.
Box Score BETHANY, OKLA. – The East Central University soccer team fell to Southern Nazarene in Great American Conference action, 1-2.
The Lady Tigers (4-10, 4-3 GAC) were led by junior Katie Glutz, who tallied her third goal of the season and recorded the lone shot on goal for ECU.

The Crimson Storm (9-6, 5-3 GAC) struck first at 11:28 in the first period.

The Lady Tigers knotted the match at one-all just over 13 minutes later.  Junior Katie Glutz earned her third goal of the year when she sent in a cross from junior Kourtney Holleman eight yards out and sent it into the back of the net.

The match remained tied until the second period, when SNU added a second goal at 58:52 for the game-winner.

The Crimson Storm had a strong offensive day, tallying 14 shots to the Lady Tigers five.  Seven of those shots were on goal, while only one of ECU's shots was on goal.

ECU will be idle until Friday, Nov. 1 when they travel to face Harding in Searcy, Ark.
