The Lady Tigers (4-1, 1-1 GAC) were led by junior Ashleigh Kelman-Poto, who tallied her second consecutive double-double with 12 points and rebounds.  Junior Erin Walling added 12 points, while junior Dilan Webster tallied 10 points and seven boards.

The Lady Reddies (3-2, 1-1 GAC) started the game by taking a 4-8 advantage three minutes in.  However, ECU fought back and tied the game at nine two minutes later and took a three-point lead with an 8-1 run.  The game remained close for most of the first half until the final 3:48 when HSU used a 7-0 run to take a 28-39 lead into the locker room.

The Lady Reddies continued to push the momentum at the start of the second stanza, using a 14-1 run in the opening six minutes to increase the lead to 24 (29-53).  The teams then battled through the rest of the game, with ECU only able to cut the lead to 12, as HSU earned the 53-69 win.

Sluggish shooting percentages hurt the Lady Tigers, as they shot 29.2 (19-of-65) percent from the field and just 16 (4-of-25) percent from three-point range.  The Lady Reddies had a strong day, hitting 41.3 (26-of-63) percent of their overall shots and 33.3 (5-of-15) percent of those beyond the arc.

ECU will now hit the road for the first time in 2013-14 when they make the short trip to Shawnee, Okla., to face St. Gregory's, Monday, Nov. 25 at 7 p.m. at W.P. Wood Fieldhouse.
