Box Score SEARCY, ARK. – The East Central University football team dropped a 30-52 decision to Harding on the road in Great American Conference action.

The Tigers (4-5, 4-5 GAC) struggled to get their running game going, finishing the game with -24 yards rushing. ECU earned a total of 245 total yards, with 266 from sophomore
Spencer Bond. Bond finished the game 18-of-37 for the day, with three passing TD's and a rushing touchdown.

Caleb Holley recorded his fourth-straight 100+ yard rushing game, with 125 and three touchdowns. The Anchorage, Alaska, native is now just 24 yards from breaking the ECU single season record for receiving yards. The record is currently held by Chris Barnes with 930 in 2011.
Senior
Fred Gaines led the defensive charge for the Tigers, with 13.5 total tackles, 11 solo and five assists. Gaines also added five tackles-for-loss for 10 yards.
The Bisons (7-2, 7-2 GAC) totaled 490 yards, with 304 on the rush.
Harding opened the game with a strong first quarter, scoring 28 points.
ECU got on the board at the start of the second quarter with a 34-yard field goal from freshman
Trevor Hunt with 14:09 left to play.
Holley caught the first of his three TD's of the game with 11:45 remaining in the second quarter, for a 10-28 disadvantage.
The Bisons then added 17 points for a 10-45 advantage.
Holley got back into action in the third quarter with an 11-yard TD pass from Bond with 6:16 remaining and a 13-yard pass with 4:11 left on the clock, which put the score at 23-45.
Bond added the final points for ECU with11:36 remaining in the fourth quarter on a one-yard rush to put the Tigers down 30-45.
Harding added a final TD in the fourth quarter for the 30-52 final.
The Tigers will play their final regular-season game of 2013 next Saturday, Nov. 16. ECU will travel to Durant, Okla., for the annual battle for the KTEN Cup against archrival Southeastern Oklahoma State at 2 p.m.
