ADA – The East Central University soccer team dropped a 0-2 decision to Missouri Southern State at Lady Tiger Field in non-conference action.

The Lady Tigers (0-4) were led by senior Ashley Bradford, with three shots on goal and four total shots for the match.  Freshman Lexi Hurley spent the first 74 minutes between the pipes, allowing two goals and stopping six shots.

The Lions (1-3) tallied a goal in each of the 45-minute stanzas.  ECU tallied a total of five shots in the first stanza and three in the second, with a total of five making it on net.

The Lady Tigers will have a busy week, with three matches.  ECU will first face Texas Woman's University, Wednesday, Sept. 18 (7:30 p.m.) and Midwestern State, Friday, Sept. 20 (5 p.m.) on the road.  The Lady Tigers will then return home to start a four-match home stand, Sunday, Sept. 22 against McMurray at 1 p.m.
