DENTON, TEXAS – The East Central University women's soccer team fell 1-3 at Texas Woman's in non-conference action.  The Lady Tigers (0-5) match was the first of three for the week.

ECU was led by junior Kourtney Holleman, who scored her second goal of the season.  Junior Taylor Graves bolstered the offense with three shots (one on goal).  Freshman Taylor Lowe earned two saves and allowed three goals in 90 minutes of action.

The Pioneers scored two goals in the first half to take a 0-2 lead into the locker room and then added a third goal at the 71-minute mark for a 0-3 advantage.

The Lady Tigers scored their lone goal of the game at 85:40 when Holleman took a shot from 40-yards out that found the back of the net.

ECU will remain on the road for a match against Midwestern State, Friday, Sept. 20 at 5 p.m. in Wichita Falls, Texas before finishing the week with a home match against McMurry, Sunday, Sept. 22 at 1 p.m.
