ECU had a player record multiple goals in a single game for the fourth time this season, with senior Milan Galloway doing so for the third time.  Junior Taylor Lowe came up big in the net for the Tigers, stopping four shots.

ECU took the lead first at 16:54 into the opening stanza.  Galloway got her first goal of the game when she beat the Rangers (5-5-3, 0-4-2) one-on-one in the middle of the box after receiving a spot on pass from center field from junior Megan Lantrip.

NWOSU waited until the second half the get on the board, scoring the tying goal a 56:45.

It then took less than two minutes for the Tigers to respond, as Galloway hit the match-winning goal at 58:55 with an assist from freshman Kaitie Herrin.  Galloway beat her defender up the middle of the box and was able to send it past the net minder on the right side for the 2-1 advantage.

That is how the game would end, but both goalkeepers had key saves in the final minutes of the game to hold the score a 2-1.

The Tigers will remain at home for their second-straight match Saturday, Oct. 18 when they host Southwestern Oklahoma State at 1 p.m.  The match is part of a five-match home stand for ECU that will wrap up the originally scheduled matches for the season.
