The Tigers (4-22, 0-13 GAC) were led by freshman Chelsea Stevens who tallied eight kills, four block assists and a .353 (8k-2e-17ta) hitting percentage.  Fellow freshman Madyson Gill added seven kills and five (1-4) blocks.  Sophomore Madison Seiler recorded her seventh double-double of the season with 31 assists and 13 digs.

The first set saw the Savage Storm (15-11, 8-3 GAC) open with a 3-0 run for the early advantage.  The Tigers fought back and cut the disadvantage to one (3-4) and then kept pushing to tie the set at nine.  However, that is when SEOSU took control, using a 9-1 run to increase their advantage to nine (10-19).  The Savage Storm kept the momentum on their side as they went on to win 18-25.

The second set was a closer battle that resulted in a win for the Tigers.  SEOSU started the set out with a 4-0 run, but saw ECU cut into the deficit with several short runs to get within two (5-7).  However, the Savage Storm pushed back with a 3-0 run to increase its lead to five (5-10).  The Tigers kept the disadvantage within two to four points for most of the set until they used a 3-0 run to get cut the score to 18-19.

The teams then traded serves until the score was knotted at 21 with a 2-0 ECU run.  The Tigers kept pushing and used a 4-2 run to earn the 25-23 win.

The third set started out close with the teams trading the first 10 serves before SEOSU used a 2-0 run to take a 5-7 lead.  The teams again traded serves before a 4-0 run by the Savage Storm pushed the advantage to five (7-12).  That was all that they would need as SEOSU kept fighting and earned a 15-25 win.

The teams traded the first four serves before Southeastern went on an 8-1 run to take control of the set (3-10).  SEOSU kept the pressure up the entire set on its way to an 8-25 win.

The Tigers will return home for the final matches of the 2014 regular-season at the Kerr Activities Center, Saturday, Nov. 1.  ECU will first host Henderson State at 2 p.m. and then battle with Dallas Baptist at 6 p.m.
