Box Score ADA – In the last non-conference game of the 2014 season and the last home game for close to a month, the East Central University soccer team earned a 4-2 win over Lubbock Christian at Tiger Field.

Milan Galloway, who tallied two goals in the match, doubling her season goal total. Junior
Taylor Lowe was strong in the net, recording six saves.
Galloway got the scoring started for ECU and the match at 14:29 into the first half. Galloway took a pass from senior
Kristina Gonzalez-Claborn on the far right of the box and sent the ball over the goalies outstretched hands into the far left corner of the net.
The Lady Chaps (3-3) tied the score at one at 22:07 on a bouncing rebound from a free kick.

Kourtney Holleman put the Tigers back on top at 34:09. She received a long pass from senior
Jessica Stibbens and sent in a shot from the left side at the top of the box.

Taylor Graves pushed ECU ahead 3-1 just 3:45 into the second half. Senior
Katie Glutz sent a shot from inside the right side of the box back out to Graves at the top of the box, who found the back of the net.
LCU responded at 74:27 with a goal off a corner kick to cut the lead to 3-2.
However, with less than a minute remaining Galloway earned her second goal of the day. She received a pass from Graves up the left side of the field and was able to pass the defense and then beat the goalie for a wide open net at 89:29.
The Tigers will now get ready for a long road stand with the start of Great American Conference action. ECU will play the first five matches of the GAC season on the road, starting with a Thursday, Sept. 25 match in Alva, Okla., at 4 p.m.
