ECU came out ready to fight in the second half and tied the game at 29 three minutes in, with a 6-2 run.  UAM countered with a 12-3 run over the next six minutes to push back out to a 32-41 advantage.

The Tigers were not done fighting and with 11 minutes left to play they started an 11-4 run to cut the deficit to two (46-48).  The Cotton Blossoms kept pushing their momentum and kept the advantage in their favor for the rest of the game, before earning the 54-63.

The game was the final game for seniors Taylor Fischer, Janee Garza, Ashleigh Kelman-Poto, Erin Walling and Dilan Webster.  The group helped turn the Tigers around from an 8-19 season in 2011-12 to 19-9 records in 2012-13 and 2013-14.
