The Tigers (14-5, 10-3 GAC) saw four players score in double digits, while senior Ishmael Donzo earned his 13th career double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds.  Senior Braxton Reeves led the team with 35 points, while freshman Camron Tally netted a career-high 21 points and senior Ben Brown-White earned 10.

ECU took a slight early lead, but the game remained close for the first few minutes.  Then the Tigers pushed ahead to a 10-point advantage (14-4), with 16:15 left to play.  The Muleriders (7-12, 5-8 GAC) pushed back over the next four minutes to close the gap to two (14-12).  However, ECU followed with a 7-0 run to regain the lead.

SAU kept the pressure up through the half and was able to tie the game at 33 in the final minute.  ECU then got a last-second three from Jamey Woods to take a 36-33 lead into the locker room.

The Tigers scored the first six points of the second half, but the Muleriders would not let the lead get larger than seven.  After the first six minutes SAU then went on a 10-2 run to gain a one-point lead (53-54), with 11 minutes left to play.

ECU then buckled down and over the next 3:30 used a 10-3 run to regain the lead for good.  The Tigers kept pushing the tempo and had the lead out to double-digits with five minutes left and 20 with two minutes to go.  ECU pushed the lead out to as many as 23 on the way to the 95-76 victory.

A better day shooting from three-point range and at the charity stripe were the keys to victory for the Tigers.  ECU made 15 triple to eight by the Muleriders and went 22-of-34 to 14-of-23 from the free-throw line.

The Tigers will now get ready for the final weekend road trip of the season, heading to Arkadelphia, Ark., to face Ouachita (Feb. 2) and Henderson State (Feb. 4).
