The Tigers (16-6, 12-4 GAC) were paced by senior Braxton Reeves and freshman Camron Talley, who each tallied 18 points.  Reeves added three rebounds, three steals and five assists, while Talley netted four assists and four rebounds.

The opening few minutes were close, with the teams knotted at five, with 18:30 left in the half.  That is when ECU went to work, using a 6-1 run over the next three minutes for an 11-6 advantage.  The Bison (5-15, 2-14 GAC) pushed back to cut the deficit to two (11-9) in a minute.  The Tigers kept pushing and built the lead out to double digits (23-13), with 12:15 left.

The next six minutes were low scoring, but after the drought ECU took control and increased the lead to as many as 17 (36-19), with 4:45 left.  OBU finished the stanza with an 8-2 run, but the Tigers still lead 38-27 at the half.

The teams traded shots in the opening minutes of the second half, but after the first five minutes ECU pushed the momentum and had the lead out to 20, with 12 minutes on the clock.  The teams traded small runs through the remaining time, with the Tigers leading by no less than 14 and by as many as 25 on the way to the 81-58 victory.

ECU had a strong shooting day, with a 44.8 (30-of-67) overall percentage and a 43.5 (10-of-23) percentage from three-point range.  The Tigers held the Bison to 35.6 percent from the field (21-of-59) and just 18.2 percent (4-of-22) from beyond the arc.

ECU will now head to Weatherford, Okla., to face Southwestern, Saturday, Feb. 11 at 3 p.m.
