Box Score OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – The East Central University soccer team suffered a 1-0 loss at Oklahoma Christian in the opening match of the 2017 season.
The Tigers (0-1) tallied a total of 19 shots, with four ending up on goal, while the Eagles garnered just nine shots, with two on goal.

Allie Verner each netted three.
The lone goal of the match was scored by OC at the 47:32 mark in the second half. The only other shot on goal for the Eagles came at 57:46 when they were awarded a penalty kick. However, junior
Chloe Hull earned a save on the shot to keep the score at 1-0.
The Tigers will now prepare for the first home match of the season at Tiger Field, Saturday, Sept. 2 at 2 p.m. against Rogers State.
