ADA – The East Central University volleyball team will continue its home stand and start Great American Conference action, with two matches at the Kerr Activities Center over the next week. The Tigers (3-4) will first host Southwestern Oklahoma State in GAC action, Tuesday, Sept. 12 at 7 p.m. ECU will then host For Hays State, Thursday, Sept. 14 at 7 p.m. in non-conference action.
The Tigers are coming off a 3-0 weekend at the Tiger Invitational, earning wins over Dallas Baptist, Langston and Cameron.

Karina Erreguin, with both hitting over .200 for the week. Etienne tallied a .237 (26k-7e-80ta) hitting percentage, while adding four assists, two service aces, 39 digs and four block assists. Erreguin netted a .22 (23k-9e-63ta) average, an ace, four digs and nine (1-8) blocks. Defensively, senior
Lily Porsa added 49 digs and two service aces.
The Bulldogs come into the first league match of the season with a 3-5 overall mark, after going 2-2 at the LCU Chap Classic last weekend. SWOSU earned wins over Texas Woman's and Colorado Christian, while falling to Colorado Mesa and Eastern New Mexico.
The Bulldogs are being led by Danusai Sipa Borgeau for the season with 91 kills, two aces, 26 digs and 15 block assists. Kaitlyn Dillos leads the team on defense, with 156 digs.
The Tigers and SWOSU have played each other 13 previous times, with the Bulldogs leading the all-time series 7-6 overall, but ECU leads 4-2 at the Kerr Activities Center.
The Tigers of Fort Hays State are 4-5 overall, after going 2-3 at the Cavalier Classic last weekend. FHSU earned wins over West Liberty and Roberts Wesleyan, while falling to Seton Hill, Walsh and Pittsburg-Johnstown.
The Tigers are led by Kylie Rollman on the offensive side, with 100 kills, a .232 (110k-43e-246ta), 22 digs and 23 (1-22) blocks. The digs leader is Taylor White, with 156.
Thursday's match will be the fourth in the all-time series, with FHSU leading 3-0 overall and 1-0 when playing in Ada.
ECU will also participate in the GAC/MIAA Crossover this weekend in Edmond and Bethany, Okla. The Tigers will face host Central Oklahoma (12 p.m.) and Southwest Baptist (4 p.m.), Friday, Sept. 15 in Edmond, Okla. ECU will then make the short trip to Bethany, Okla. for Saturday, Sept. 16 for matches against Emporia State (12 p.m.) and Missouri Southern (6 p.m.).
