Last Meeting: In 2016 ECU earned a 23-6 win at Southern Nazarene (Sept. 17).  The Tigers claimed the win largely due to field goals in the first three quarters.

On the defensive side, Jamil Young and Camnik Campbell led the returners.  Young tallied five solo tackles, a TFL and broke up a pass, while Campbell netted four (3-1) total tackles.

ECU allowed just 137 total yards for the day, including just two passing, while recording 429.

The teams ended the first half knotted at six, after two Tigers' field goals.

But ECU came out ready to fight in the second half, taking a 16-6 lead before the end of the third quarter.

Harvey gave the Tigers their final points on a touchdown, with 9:23 left in the fourth quarter, to put ECU up 23-6.
