Women’s Basketball Rushes Past the Ranked Bronchos

ADA, OKLA. – The East Central University women's basketball team redeemed themselves after the first game against No. 22 Central Oklahoma, defeating the Bronchos (10-2, 1-1 MIAA), 75-56 at the Kerr Activities Center.
Scoring
  • First Quarter: 18-9
    • The Tigers (7-3, 2-2 GAC) opened the game with a 4-0 run in the first minute
    • UCO tied the game at four, with 7:52 left in the quarter
    • ECU then took control for the rest of the game
      • Used a 10-0 run over the next five minutes to push the lead to double-digits
  • Second Quarter: 19-16 (37-25)
    • The Tigers opened the quarter on a 9-0 run and built the lead to 33-14 (19) in the first six minutes of the stanza
