Johnson's Thoughts
  • "It was exciting, but not what we anticipated.  There are a lot of good things that happened and a lot of guys that played a heck of a game.  There were some defensive lineman that might not have had a lot of stats, but I know when we watch film we see that they did a good job controlling the line of scrimmage and Trinity Benson had a great game."
  • "But at the end of the day we beat ourselves.  We had too many penalties and had to take too many time outs.  Ultimately we were not in the shape that we need to be and when the legs go so does the heart."
  • "The positives are that we played as a team."
