Men’s Basketball’s Second Half Downs Bacone

ADA, Okla. – The East Central University men's basketball team and Bacone University were close (45-40) after the first half, but the Tigers (6-1) second half charge led ECU to a 104-67 victory in the Kerr Activities Center.

  • 1st Half: 45-40
    • The Tigers took an early 4-0 advantage in the first 1:30 minutes
    • The Warriors (0-8) fought back and tied the game at 5, 3 minutes in
    • ECU pushed the lead back to four (10-6) in the next two minutes
    • Bacone then started a 9-0 run, until 12:47 remained, for a 15-10 advantage
    • Over the next 4:30 minutes the Tigers fought back to tie the game at 19 and take a 23-19 lead

    • ECU got the lead over 10, with 10:14 remaining
      • Increased it over 30, with 4:51 left to play
    • The Tigers led by as many as 39 in the rest of the game
