Women’s Basketball Edged in Final Minutes by Arkansas Tech

ADA, Okla. – The East Central University women's basketball team fell in the final three minutes to Arkansas Tech, 81-78, in the first of five-straight Great American Conference games at the Kerr Activities Center.

  • 1st Quarter: 19-24
    • The teams traded shots and small runs throughout the stanza, with no team leading by more than five
    • With 4:34 remaining the game was tied at 15
    • The Golden Suns (12-5, 9-4 GAC) then went on a 9-4 run in the remaining time to gain the advantage
