Women’s Basketball Sends off Three Seniors

ADA, Okla. – The East Central University women's basketball team said goodbye to three seniors in the final game of the 2019-20 season, falling to Henderson State, 73-58, at the Kerr Activities Center.

  • 1st Quarter: 15-21
    • The Reddies (19-9, 14-8 GAC) started the game on a strong note
      • Went up 5-1 in the first 1:30 minutes
    • The Tigers (10-18, 8-14 GAC) slowly fought back over the next 3:30 minutes to get within two (11-13)
    • HSU then ended the stanza on an 8-4 run
  • 2nd Quarter: 13-22 (28-43)
    • The Reddies built the lead out to 16 in the first 4:30 minutes
    • ECU kept the deficit around 14-17 points for the rest of the quarter
  • 3rd Quarter: 24-14 (52-57)
    • The lead was increased to 19 in the first two minutes and HSU kept the advantage around 19 until the final 4:30 minutes
    • The Tigers then fought back within five through the rest of the quarter

    • The Reddies responded and took control for good in the first three mintues
      • Went on a 10-0 run to increase the lead to 15
    • HSU built the lead to as many as 19 in the rest of the game
