ADA, Okla. – For the second-straight game and the third time in 2019-20, it took extra stanzas for the East Central University men's basketball team to earn a victory, this time defeating Southwestern Oklahoma State, 95-93, in overtime at the Kerr Activities Center.

- Jackson then hit a layup with 5.1 seconds left to tie the game at 81

- The teams traded shots for the first minute of the extra stanza (83-all)
- ECU went up 86-83 before the Bulldogs cut the deficit to one (86-85), with 2:41 left
- The Tigers then went on a 5-2 run over the next minute to lead 91-87
- SWOSU fought back to tie the game at 93 (21.7 seconds remaining), with a 6-2 run
- The final scoring came with 2.4 seconds left when Sr. Zac Neely hit 2 free throws for the win
