Box Score ALVA, Okla. – The East Central University volleyball team hit the court for the first time in over a year and fell 3-1 (17-25, 18-25, 25-19, 20-25) at Northwestern Oklahoma State.

- The Rangers (2-0, 1-0 GAC) opened the match on a 3-1 run
- NWOSU held the lead throughout the set, leading by as many as nine
- Set 2: 18-25
- The Rangers opened the set with a 4-0 run
- The Tigers (0-1, 0-1 GAC) fought back and tied the set at six
- The teams then traded the next 16 servers for a tie at 14
- NWOSU added a 4-0 run to take control of the set
- Set 3: 25-19
- ECU came out ready to fight and earned a 3-1 lead
- The Tigers held the lead until the Rangers were able to tie the set at six
- The teams battled back-and-forth for control until half way through
- ECU then went on a 4-0 run to take a five-point advantage
- NWOSU pushed back within one (17-16), but could not get closer the rest of the set
- Set 4: 21-25
- The Rangers pulled out to an early 3-1 lead, but the Tigers fought back to tie the set at four
- The teams traded serves to a 9-all tie
- NWOSU took control with an 8-0 run
