Women’s Basketball Defeats Rangers

ADA, Okla. – The East Central University women's basketball team broke a two-game losing streak with an 82-59 Great American Conference victory over Northwestern Oklahoma State at the Kerr Activities Center.

  • 1st Quarter: 22-16
    • Neither team scored for the first 1:30 minutes
    • The Rangers (3-4, 0-1 GAC) hit a triple to take their only lead of the game
    • The Tigers (4-2, 1-1 GAC) scored the next six points over the next 2:30 minutes to lead 6-3
    • NWOSU tied the game at 6, 30 seconds later
    • ECU followed with an 8-2 run over the next minute to gain a six-point advantage
