Tiger Athletics Week at a Glance – Feb. 16-22 – Several Events Cancelled
ADA, Okla. – This week's games for East Central University Athletics has had several changes due to the inclement weather in the area and we may still see changes because of the weather. Make sure to check

The men's and women's basketball teams were schedule to play Southwestern Oklahoma State, Thursday, Feb. 18, but the games have been cancelled. The teams are set to resume play, Saturday, Feb. 20 at the Kerr Activities Center when they host Southern Nazarene.
The men's and women's cross country teams were supposed to host the Tiger Chase Friday, Feb. 19, but it has been cancelled. The ECU baseball team's series against Harding and the soccer team's opening match of the season have also been cancelled.
The volleyball team will look to be the first team to play this week, as they travel to Oklahoma Baptist, Friday, Feb. 19.
The softball team will then play Sunday and Monday, Feb. 21-22. The Tigers will travel to Edmond, Okla., to participate in the Central Oklahoma/Oklahoma Christian Festival. The Tigers will face Fort Hays State and Oklahoma Christian Sunday and Pittsburg State and Northeastern State Monday.
The men's and women's basketball teams will then round out the week with the final game against arch rival Southeastern Oklahoma State, Monday, Feb. 22.

While the teams will be back on the court, the GAC Council of Presidents approved return to play protocols. The ECU Athletics Department has announced that ECU student-athletes and non-student coaching staff may invite two immediate family members to home contests. ECU remains committed to enforcing a mandatory mask and social distancing mitigation effort on the entire campus. All seating will be arranged to adhere to current, local and, state guidelines for combating COVID-19. No tickets will be available to visiting teams.
Fans still have chance to be part of the games, with your own Tiger Fan Cutout. The cutouts will be placed in the stands, so you can still support the ECU student-athletes. Fan can purchase a 16"x24" cutout starting at $25. Tiered pricing is available for the purchase of 2-5 cutouts as well ($50 for 2, $65 for 3, $75 for 4, $85 for 5). Cutouts will be featured on the ECU Athletics game stream before the game, half time and between double-headers.
