Tiger Athletics Week at a Glance – Feb. 23-27
ADA, Okla. – The East Central University athletics department will have a busy week, including two Great American Conference Championships.
The baseball team will start the week off, with a non-conference game at Central Oklahoma, Tuesday, Feb. 23.
The men's and women's basketball teams will play their final games of the 2020-21 regular season. The Tigers will host Oklahoma Baptist, Thursday, Feb. 25 for their annual Senior Day. ECU will then hit the road for the final regular-season game, Saturday, Feb. 27 at Northwestern Oklahoma State.
The soccer team will start their 2020-21 season, with a non-conference match at Southwestern Oklahoma State, Thursday, Feb. 25.
The baseball and softball teams will also start GAC action this week. The baseball team will host Arkansas Tech, Friday and Saturday (Feb. 26-27), while the softball team will travel to Conway, Ark., to face Arkansas Tech.
The week will round out with the men's and women's GAC Championship race, Saturday, Feb. 27 in Weatherford, Okla.

While the teams will be back on the court, the GAC Council of Presidents approved return to play protocols. The ECU Athletics Department has announced that ECU student-athletes and non-student coaching staff may invite two immediate family members to home contests. ECU remains committed to enforcing a mandatory mask and social distancing mitigation effort on the entire campus. All seating will be arranged to adhere to current, local and, state guidelines for combating COVID-19. No tickets will be available to visiting teams.
