Men’s Basketball Falls at Southeastern

DURANT, Okla. – The East Central University men's basketball team fell to Southeastern Oklahoma State, 85-77, in the third-of-four Great American Conference games in the 2020-21 season.

Scoring
  • 1st Half: 36-43
    • The advantage toggled back-and-forth throughout the stanza, with no team leading by more than five, through the first 15 minutes (29-29)
    • The Savage Storm (5-7, 5-7 GAC) then used a 12-1 run, over three minutes, to push the lead to 11
    • The Tigers (6-6, 6-6 GAC) finished the stanza with a 7-2 run
  • 2nd Half: 41-42 (77-85)
    • The teams traded small runs until the game was tied at 54, with 15 minutes left to play
    • After a 56-all tie, with 12:43 remaining, SOSU used an 8-2 run, over the next 3:30 minutes, to push the lead back out to six
    • The Savage Storm held onto the lead for the remainder of the game
