Men’s Basketball Hosts Arkansas-Monticello

ADA, Okla. – The East Central University men's basketball led for 99% of the game, but ended up falling 62-61 to Arkansas-Monticello at the Kerr Activities Center.

  • 1st Half: 36-39
    • The Tigers (5-8, 3-4 GAC) opened the game on a 6-0 run, in the first two minutes
    • ECU extended the lead to 13-4, in the first 4:30 minutes

    • The Boll Weevils then took control for the rest of the game
      • Went on a 5-0 run in the next minute, to get within one (59-58)
      • ECU got a layup with 38 seconds remaining
      • A three by UAM then knotted the game at 61, with 20 ticks left on the clock
      • Neither team scored until the final second when the Boll Weevils took advantage of two free-throw attempts (1-of-2), with one second left to claim the win
