ADA, Okla. – For the first time in 2022, the East Central University track & field teams competed against Division I opponents, at the John Jacobs Invitational at the University of Oklahoma.
The Tigers were highlighted by a first-place finish in the men's 5,000 meters by sophomore Amos Pkiach, in a time of 14:37.97.

The top finisher on the women's side was junior Abigael Kemboi, who was 9th in the 1,500 meters (4:55.01).
