Bauboeck, Leveling Earn Player of the Week Honors

Tanja Bauboeck and
McKenna Leveling were awarded Defensive and Goalkeeper of the Week.
Bauboeck and Leveling played vital roles in ECU's performance last week where they achieved a record of one win and one draw.
In the two matches against Southwestern and Northwestern, Bauboeck led the Tiger defense in helping restrict the Bulldogs to five shots on target and the Rangers to just three. The Munderfing, Austria native also added to the offensive effort with her first goal of the season at Southwestern where she headed in the tying goal for a 1-1 draw. The Tigers secured just their second point in Weatherford in the last 13 visits.
Between the Tigers' 1-1 draw against Southwestern and their 2-0 home win over Northwestern, Leveling tallied seven saves as the ECU goalie. She made four saves against the Bulldogs, allowing just one goal, and against the Rangers, Leveling recorded three stops to help keep Northwestern off the board en route to ECU's first GAC win and second shutout of the season.
The ECU soccer team will return to action on Saturday, Oct. 14 to face Ouachita Baptist in Arkadelphia, Arkansas at 12 pm.
